It all began in the spring of 1984. Carl and Joan Nykamp were introduced to Landa by a Utah Landa dealer. They were impressed by the quality of the equipment and decided to open a dealership in South Eastern Idaho. They soon met the founder of Landa, Larry Linton, who started the company in the 1960's with his tax return check. Larry is an excellent businessman who insists on excellence in every facet of his company. As a result, in the span of 20 years, Larry built a very small company into the leader in the industry. No one does it better! Believing in the Landa way, Carl and Joan set up shop and built their business from scratch. After working with his parents for 16 years, Bruce Nykamp now owns the business with his wife, Jody. We believe in the same principles that made Larry Linton and Carl and Joan successful.
